Finding the balance

The heart of a woman, called and anointed by God Himself, should be hidden in God through His son Jesus Christ so that, should a man want to seek her, that man will have to seek Yahweh God first for her.  The bible says “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour from the Lord” Proverbs 18:22. And “who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies” Proverbs 31:10. But “when a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found some uncleanness in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house” Deuteronomy 24:1-3. This is what is happening in our society, church and the world today.

It is time to stand a little taller, bend the knee a little lower, and listen closely to do and say whatever the Lord tells us to do and say. It is time to ‘break through’ the silence, barriers and the destruction and release the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ to our family, neighbourhood, church and your community in our generation. As women we must be absolutely faithful to God to do whatever it is that He has called us to do. Our lives will not be made fruitful by only dreaming dreams of what we would like our family to be, it will be made fruitful by the choices we make and act upon.

Let us, as women, begin to take this moment to reflect on our hearts motivations. We should simply call and ask the Lord to touch us afresh and renew our willingness to be exactly who He wants us to be.

Remember that, the doing in our lives will come and go however, the being must remain constant. If we are being whom God wants us to be, then we will be on target in fulfilling our purpose.

As Myles Munroe said, many women are building careers; they are also bearing children and doing so many household chores that the pace of such a life is leaving women exhausted and disillusioned. The confusion arising over the role of a man and woman has been a long-standing list of misunderstandings, conflicts, and unstable relationships between married couples and especially amongst our young generation. Even in a Christian home, women today are finding it difficult to balance attending to the needs of their families, emotional turmoil and loss of income due to divorce, single parenthood, and conflicts stemming from cultural changes in upbringing affecting the way women and men relate with each other since they come from a different cultural backgrounds.

It has greatly saddened me that Christian women, and women in general, are confused about what the responsibility of a woman should be, may the Lord help us in Jesus name.

I hope you will continue to follow me on my blog as I continue to look deeper into the role of a Christian woman in the world we live in today, creating a great and significant impact in our home, church and the world.

Thank you for your support and I pray together we will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us all fulfil our purpose as women in Jesus name.

Until next time remain blessed.
